Vernon L. Harris wa born in Southwick, Idaho in 1919. His love of nature and the medical world led him to a B.S. degree in zoology at the University of Idaho and a Masters in Hospital Administration at the University of Minnesota.
His entire working life was devoted to the Public Health and Health Administration, ending in 1986, after ten years with the Indian Health Service on the Navajo Reservation. Vernon now lives in Orem, Utah.
Lee Nelson was born high in the Rocky Mountains in Logan, Utah, later graduating from high school in Concord, California. After studying at the University of California at Berkeley, he served a mission for the LDS Church in Southern Germany. Lee has a bachelor's degree in English literature and an MBA degree, both from Brigham Young University.
Lee is a full-time writer living on a small farm in central Utah. His hobbies include team roping, big game hunting, and finding and exploring ancient Indian ruins.
