Hidden Treasures Institute (HTI) is a nonprofit volunteer corporation. HTI is committed to carrying a message of hope to interested parties who respect the principles and teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Its primary purpose is to provide resources to LDS members with addiction, mental illness, and other social and emotional concerns. HTI makes available education materials and listings of a variety of resources. It does not provide direct therapy and is not meant to replace professional counseling, appropriate use of medication, or local LDS Church leaders' direction.

Although not directly attached to a religious group, HTI encourages involvement in the LDS Church as a resource for dealing with social and emotional concerns. HTI's materials and objectives are based on principles including, but not limited to, those espoused by the LDS Church and other sound professional prevention and treatment practices.
