Biography
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Fernanda Böhme co-founded Böhme, a women’s clothing brand, in 2007. As its creative director and designer, the brand operates 17 stores across 7 states, with an online presence that employs over 300 women. Böhme has earned recognition as one of the Top Women-Run Businesses on the Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Companies list, has been featured on Forbes, was a finalist of the Entrepreneur Of The Year, and was awarded the 2019 SBA of the Year for the state of Utah.
As a recent winner of the 40 over 40, Fernanda has been an influential keynote speaker worldwide, sharing her inspiring journey. She’s also represented the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in supporting women-owned businesses in the Middle East and has been involved in numerous charity initiatives to empower women globally. In addition to her fast-paced fashion career, Fernanda’s architecture and design work has been showcased on the cover of Build Magazine.
As parents of a daughter with autism, she and her husband are committed to raising awareness. They reside in Utah with their three children.
